COMMUNITY REPORTING GUIDE · UK PILOT
Report local problems in the UK
Make road, pavement, lighting and neighbourhood problems visible on a community map.
What can I report?
Use Notificity to describe a local problem such as damaged pavements, broken street lighting, litter, inaccessible public spaces or a road hazard. Choose the category that best matches the issue and explain what you observed without naming private individuals. A clear location and a relevant photograph can help people understand the problem.
How reporting works
Create an account, choose a location or search a UK postcode, and add a short factual description. Reports are reviewed before appearing publicly. You can edit your submission from your account, follow a public case and add comments for moderation. A map pin shows a reported issue; it does not mean that a public authority has verified it.
Track action, not just a pin
Administrators can assign approved cases to participating organisations. Public progress records show approved updates, recorded costs and resolution evidence where provided. Assignment does not itself prove that an organisation is legally responsible. Notificity is an independent platform, not a council reporting service or an emergency dispatch channel.
