Disability access and community support
Report access barriers and understand how private disability support requests work.
Describe the barrier
Blocked dropped kerbs, inaccessible entrances and damaged pavements can make everyday journeys difficult. Describe the physical barrier, its location and how it affects access. Photographs should focus on the obstruction rather than identifiable people. You do not need to publish a diagnosis or medical history to describe an access problem.
Keep personal needs private
A personal request for disability support belongs in the private support form in your account. Public reports and private requests are separate. An optional anonymous map pin requires consent and administrator review; it shows a general category and approximate area rather than the private request details.
Follow the outcome
For an approved public access report, follow updates on its public progress page. A participating organisation can provide proposed actions and evidence for administrator review. Support availability is not guaranteed, and publishing a report does not create an entitlement to funding or a service.
